FALL FIGURE WORKSHOP





Fall Figure Competitor Workshop
Information Packet


“Hi” and thank you for choosing our Figure Competitor Workshop! This event will be full of excitement and valuable information for you to take home and implement into your contest prep. The following topics will be discussed in detail:

Posing & Presentation
This will be a live, working session lasting approximately 60 minutes. Individual presentation, group posing/quarter turns, and walking will be assessed, critiqued, and improvised.

Stoning your Suit & Costume Selection
We will discuss how to stone a bathing suit with demonstration and how to choose a cut and color for your body type, what to look for and avoid, how to “fit” your suit and how to properly wear it for your show. We will also introduce MONAVIS Custom Suit Designer for tips and samples of her work.

Hair & Jewelry Selection
We will discuss how to choose a flattering hairstyle and how to choose complimentary jewelry for each round of competition.

Make-up
How to choose and apply make-up properly for onstage.

Training & Nutrition
Weight training, cardio, nutrition and more will be discussed as we talk about how your training and diet will change in prep for competition.

Goal Setting & Staying Motivated
Figure Coordinators will promote and discuss proper ways of goal setting to stay on track the last two weeks before your show and methods of staying motivated.

Tanning
We will talk about attaining a base tan, what tanning products to use and how they differ, how and when to use them, and how to apply dream tan.

What to Bring
Posing suit, swimsuit, OR sports bra/spandex shorts
Track Suit, Sneakers & Socks
High Heels (3 ½” – 5 ½” in height)
Water Bottle

What We’ll Provide
In addition to the invaluable competition advice and experience you’ll receive, we will offer an information booklet, lunch, DVD Presentation and Track Practice which will be included in the registration cost. Refreshments are also included. Be prepared for a day of learning and FUN! Thanking you in advance and we look forward to seeing you at the workshop!
